Email to Koosly

Forward any email to your Koosly address and it lands in the inbox of Niek & Kristi.

Your address. It’s only for you, in this family.

Save the address as a contact called Koosly, once.
Forward an email to Koosly. Write a line above it if you like.
It appears in the inbox in a minute, with the subject as the title.

In the subject, @kristi gives it to them, @both to both of you, and !high marks it important. Optional.

An iPhone’s share sheet can’t send to a web app, but a Shortcut can. Build it once and Koosly is in the share sheet of every app: a link, a booking or a note becomes a topic in the inbox.

Open the Shortcuts app, tap + and call the shortcut Koosly.
Tap ⓘ, turn on Show in Share Sheet, then tap Done.
Add the action URL Encode. It encodes the Shortcut Input.
Add the action Text. Paste the address below into it, then put URL Encoded Text right after it.
Add the action Open URLs.

The shortcut opens Koosly in Safari, so sign in there once.

Automatic with a Gmail label (for Gmail users who like to tinker)

Label an email Koosly in Gmail and it lands in the inbox of Niek & Kristi within five minutes. Each of you sets it up once.

Copy the Apps Script below. It’s personal to you and this family: your own key is already in it, so keep it to yourself.
Go to script.google.com, create a new project, and replace everything in Code.gs with it.
Choose install in the function menu, click Run, and approve the permissions.
Label any email Koosly. Add #category, @kristi, @me, @both or !high to the subject to sort it.

Set it up before? If labelled emails stopped arriving, replace your script with this one.

Optional: mail yourself a topic

In Gmail, create a filter for to:(niek+tandem@example.com) that applies the label Koosly and skips the inbox. Now any email to your plus-address becomes a topic, subject first.
